What to prepare for a buyer

• Find the manufacturer's identification, original year and model, and any conversion or title paperwork. Note whether it is an ordinary golf cart or has been converted to an LSV.
• Photograph the battery compartment, undercarriage, and metal fittings if the cart has been kept near the coast; describe any corrosion or water-related repair rather than relying on a general condition grade.
• If it was driven in a neighborhood, identify the actual municipality and road use. Florida says golf-cart road operation depends on designated roadways and may be subject to more restrictive local ordinances; verify locally instead of assuming that accessories make it road legal.
